Brian earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia College, Columbia University.  He has worked for 10 years in the publishing industry in a variety of roles.  In addition to editing papers, Brian provides ongoing individual “Dad” service to two, wildly energetic, children.  In his spare time, Brian works on publishing a sequel to his first published sequel of a nineteenth-century classic novel.   When he edits a paper, Brian first endeavours to understand where its author is coming from.  From there, he’ll work with what are the paper’s perceived strengths and fine tune the language and rhetoric along the way.  Brian considers it a privilege to help craft a clear, persuasive argument for the essay’s awaiting target audience.  He enjoys returning to the client an essay fundamentally their own but, as a tool to attaining their specified goal, a work that’s much more useful.
